Sooo worth it! December 17, 2008 Great! The swivel alone makes the seat worth it's weight in gold, but the look, feel, and ease of manipulation are all icing on the cake! It's heavy, it's tall - who cares. It's the easiest way to get a kid in and out of a car, and your kid will love you for it. Brilliant Combi!
heavy but efficient November 23, 2008 installation isn't the easiest part. Lack of clear explanations on how the seat moves.. It is an heavy car seat, but once installed what a difference! Great seat, smart move (once understood), i would definitively recommend.
Marvelous Product November 21, 2008 Combi Zeus Turn Convertible Car Seat in greyI'm new mother for the happiest baby girl in our family but She turn to be screaming and crying when she was in our old carseat. After I browsed and compared this product, seems It could solving our problem and its really work. She was calm and enjoyed with Combi Zeus, especially when she could turn it to the side and easy to take her out from the seat. Thanks Combi, Its help me with your Marvelous Product - Great Job!!!. Btw, I had the stoller too. Its really light and like it
I like it. September 16, 2008 I really like this car seat. It looks comfortable and my son seems to like it. He is only 3 months old but is big for his age. I couldn't carry him in the infant seat anymore so i bought this convertible.
I had read that is was too big but tried it anyway. I can see out the review mirror without any trouble in my Tahoe. Also Joey sits up high and can see out the windows. When he falls asleep his head does sometimes fall forward. I guess when they are this young the only seat that prevents this is an infant car seat. The turning feature does make it easier to get Joey in and out.
It is very heavy and I wouldn't take it when traveling. We bought a lighter less expensive seat for our other car and that is what we use on trips.
Worth every penny!!! September 11, 2008 Following weeks of pondering whether I should purchase such an expensive infant seat for my 13mo daughter, I finally caved in and purchased it for one reason alone; the swiveling feature. I have a bad neck and I constantly seize up my neck when I use it in a non-natural position. One of those is putting in an infant into a forward facing seat, especially when the infant is asleep. Anyhow, I got the seat, installed it with amazing ease via the latch system (I drive a 2004 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo) and am amazed how easy & wonderful this seat is to use. My daughter LOVES it and the swivelling feature has surpassed my expectations. It truely is a lifesaver for me. One thing I'd like to point out is that my daughter only weighs 22lbs and the company recommends using the infant inserts. I found this impossible as (a)her shoulders come above the last slot for the belts and (b)her ears are folded forward with the insert for the headpiece. Otherwise, go for it, the seat is totally worth every penny!!!
