If you're a two vehicle family and you have the infant carrier that goes with this product, it's great. If you only have one car, or a different infant carrier, this product probably isn't for you!

This is an additional seat base that will be installed in another vehicle and provide quick and easy attachment of the Graco Step 1 Infant Car Seat.

The car seat fits great with the base and it is definitely handy having an extra one.

Great base to an almost perfect car seat. The base itself is very easy to take from one vehicle to the next and it's very secure once it's locked in place. I love how it's adjustable by the turn of a knob rather than having to separate two pieces of plastic (cut/pinch hazard) for height control. The base is very sturdy and holds the car seat well. My only gripe is that of the size of the car seat itself, that thing is HUGE compared to others! As for the base, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and would gladly buy another one if I had another vehicle.

we bought 2, one for the other car and one for the sitter. works perfectly and makes getting out the door much easier. a practical purchase for sure.
