Product Description Belt positioning boosters are the biggest advancement in child safety in years. Automobile seat belts are designed for children above 57" tall. The First Years Compass B510 Booster Car Seat has a five-star Ease of Use rating. The First Years Compass B510 Booster Car Seat was one of only two high back booster seats to receive five stars and the only seat to receive five stars in every category to date under the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) new Ease of Use rating system. Safety advocates suggest that your child ride in a booster as long as possible. Most states have enacted legislation to keep children in boosters until ages 6 to 8 years. But, what it takes to keep an older child content is not the same as baby. This is an age when children are busy in activities and moms, dads and grandparents are all involved in dropping off and picking up the children. The Compass Deluxe Folding Booster Car Seat provides the answers for both you and your child. The patented folding features take moving the seat from car to car and storing in the trunk to a new level of convenience. It's not just for travel, it is a seat that fits your daily lifestyle. Deluxe padding will keep your child comfortable and content, even on long trips. Rotating arm rests make installation easier because the belt path is clear. The rotating arm rests also improve the ease of use because children have an easier time crawling in and out by themselves. The back support stays fully enclosed as the height is adjusted. This means side support and protection in every position. The head rest has a full EPS foam (bicycle helmet foam) liner to absorb energy in an impact. And the deeper side wings provide additional protection for your child. The six-position height adjust will grow with your child. Features: - Narrow bottom rails allow the seat to fit into sculpted bucket seats even in small cars
- Taller, higher belt path (2") to

Good seats May 29, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We ordered one first to see how it is. (The only drawback to these seats is that it's only available online). But based on reviews and customers who had compared the particular seats that we were considering AND this one, we thought we'll try it. It seemed good so now we have two. We've only had them for a month but we like them so far. It's light, comfortable for the kids(even when sleeping), and the adjustable headrest for taller chlidren is great. It has the fabric and cushioning even when you extend the headrest.
LOVE THIS BOOSTER - and I have tried a lot! August 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow! This booster really had it all! I picked ours up locally at Target, which was more expensive than Amazon, but Amazon did not have them when we were looking. The folding dfeature caught my eye, as eveytime we fly, my car seats get completely messed up. Problem solved! Now the car seat is super comfortable, 2 cup holders, and is a great size! I can't say anything bad about it. Love it! Also the arms rests are really nice, and keep them in the seat, and not slouched to the side when they fall asleep in the car
Great Product August 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would highly recommend this product to keeping your little one safe. My grandson loves his booster seat. Easy to use, good quality material on the seat, folds very easy and portable. I purchased two of these seats, one for my car and one for my daughter's car.
Awesome Booster! December 29, 2006 My daughter used this seat for the first time today and she loved it. I loved that she looked very comfortable and safe and when she fell asleep, her head rested on the side without hanging down like it use to. She felt very grown up and she has always stayed still in the car so I haven't had a problem like the 1st reviewer. Please read the comments attached to the first review which are very informative. I did alot of research before I purchased this seat and I'm so glad I bought it. I also like that the fabric is easy to remove and wash, my daughter gets car sick sometimes and washing the fabric to her 5-point harness carseat was like crule & unusual punishment. The fact that it folds is just gravy. I bought the bag for this carseat so I can check it on the plane without a problem. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!
Good booster, looks better in real life than in the photo January 25, 2007 I bought this booster as well as the Combi Kobuk since we have two cars. I didn't see either of them in-person, but chose them based on reviews from Amazon, the Toddler Bargains book and a friend's recommendation. So... I bought the Compass because of its good reviews, but was not expecting much in terms of looks. I was pleasantly surprised. The website photo of the seat does it no justice. My son loves it too --- just little things like the movable arm rests and the retracting cup holders. I like the Kobuk too, but it is falls in the opposite camp i.e. great-looking website photo, but not as attractive in real life.
