Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Safety 1st 3 Phase Convertible Car Seat The Safety 1st 3 Phase Convertible Car Seat is a fantastic car seat. It has all of the features parents have come to know and love with all products from Safety 1st. It manages to combine both safety and comfort. It is a convertible car seat which grows witht he child from infant rear facing to toddler forward facing to belt positioner. The 3 Phase car seat literally grows right along with the child. The car seat is used rear facing with the five point harness form 5-35 lbs and at least one year. The convertible car seat from Safety 1st is used with the five point harness from 22-40 lbs and is used forward facing. For older kids the Safety 1st car seat is used forward facing with the car's seat belts from 40-80 lbs. The child can use the car seat up to 52 in. One of the great features is the up front harness adjustment. Parents can now keep baby safe, secure and comfortable in the five point harness right from the front seat. It is certainly a feature not found on all car seats.

no complaints - saves space December 16, 2007 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
We're buying an additional one of these for our second child. It's versatile, comfortable, and easy to clean. But the best part is the size. This seat is narrower by a couple inches and makes it easier to fit three seats in the back seat of a small car.

I purchased this as a second vehicle car seat for our son and his wife for our first grandchild. They were thrilled with it being a 3 Phase Car Seat and it worked beautifully for them in my son's truck. The service was outstanding and exactly as promised.

I like this carseat but I wish it had a base to it in order to adjust the positions. other than that I love this carseat.
Car Seat Review April 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love the seat, it is so easy to use. The buckles are pretty hassle free, and we have had no problems with this seat whatsoever.
Love It! November 24, 2008 We have this same car seat that we bought for my first son who is now 2 1/2. We got it for him when he was about 6 months since was outgrowing his infanct car seat. He has been using it for 2 years now. LOVE IT! My other mommy friends always complain about their straps getting tangled, seats stained, etc. None of those probs with this little baby! The material is great for wiping down - I have only had to wash the cover once and that was a few weeks ago. We just purchased a matching one for our new baby who is also 6 months and outgrowing his infant carseat. If you have bigger babies this is for you! My 2 1/2 is so tall he wears 4T (3 ft tall, 32 lbs) and he still fits perfectly in his car seat. Not only that, but the quality of padding is phenominal! I see people complain about not being able to move their seats back when it is in rear facing position and all I can say is: that is the case with all these convertable ones. Suck it up for a few months until you can turn them forward facing. You will be happy you bought this one.
