Good Basic Booster June 3, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nice basic booster, easy to secure with seat belt and my 6 year old neice was comfortable enough to fall asleep. Also looks very nice in the car. Simple and practical. I highly recommed it. (Cover removes easily for laundering.)
Not for car sleepers... February 22, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
If your child falls asleep in the car a lot, do not get this one - get a booster seat with a high back & shoulder strap guide. We only used this once. My son and I both loved it - until he fell asleep...suddenly the shoulder strap becomes a choking hazard.
If you have an older child or one that does stay awake during trips, I would recommend this. The seat is light, easy to move, well-padded in the seat and arm rests, and it did work the way it was suppose to - just not the way we needed it.
I gave it four stars because there isn't anything wrong with the seat itself, but the age recommendation should be changed.
For older kids. January 1, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
It's a fine seat, for an OLDER child. The recommended age beginning at 24 months is crazy, a child that age cannot properly sit in this seat. I would recommend this seat (or another like it) for a child older than six at the very least - younger children are so much safer in a harness or a high back booster! Spend the extra money, this is your child's life we're talking about.
