Product Description
RayShade - UV Protective Stroller Sun Shade Tested and Rated at 50+ UPF (ULTRAVIOLET PROTECTION FACTOR)RayShade's soft, tightly-woven polyester/spandex fabric meets the highest possible rating for sun protection according to tests in both the United States and Australia. A hidden bottle pocket holds bottles & sippy cups upright while larger pockets on both sides hold tissues, cell phones and pacifiers. Water Repellent: The RayShade is water repellent to protect your child from any weather conditions! Easily-Adjustable: RayShade Extends the Protective Shaded Area Under Every Stroller Canopy. Place over any canopied stroller, jogger or pram with the front curve of the hoop facing forward. As the angle of the sun changes, you can quickly adjust the RayShade forward or back to provide your child with the right amount of sun protection. 90%% of All Skin Cancer is Caused by Sun Exposure: One bad sunburn as a child doubles the chances of developing skin cancer later in life. Children must stay in the shade, even in overcast conditions. This is CRITICAL FOR INFANTS under 6 months, as their skin is too sensitive to use sunscreen lotion. Pediatricians Recommend RayShade: to keep infants and children protected from the sun s UVA and UVB rays. RayShade Rolls Away Into Its Pocket for Compact Storage: Lay RayShade flat, then coil up around the hoop to about 9 inches in diameter. Invert the pocket and enclose the coil! **Available only for single strollers in black

5 out of 5 stars Provides lots of shade for baby   May 23, 2005

I really like my stroller, but the canopy is very small and my baby is very, very fair. I thought about buying a new stroller with a fancy canopy, but decided to try this first.

It did take some time to figure out the best way to attach it to the stroller. But now that I know how to get it on (so that I can still collapse the stroller), it is very easy to use. The material is very stretchy and it easily covers my Peg Perego Aria stroller. If anything, it is a bit too long. I really like the fact that it offers side protection too. It rolls up into a small little pouch too.

My only complaint is that on windy days the lightweight canopy can blow upward, let the sun hit baby. I'm thinking about sewing a little weight into the top of it.

5 out of 5 stars Great sunshade!   May 8, 2006

We bought this at BRU before our trip to FL for a week vacation at the theme parks. We used this shade the entire trip (5 straight days of morning to night theme parks!) and he didn't get one ounce of sun! I loved this shade. I found it easy to fold, easy to open, easy to lower. It did blow around in the wind, but then I realized if you just attach the lower straps as far down as possible on the stroller, it doesn't do this. It was great for naptime, because we'd just pull the shade all the way down and it would cover up his feet and keep it dark in there...yet cool. I totally recommend this shade if you are going anywhere with a baby and need coverage from the sun!

5 out of 5 stars Necessity When You Can't Use Sunscreen   September 29, 2005

I love to take long walks with my son. It was difficult to do that during the summer with only the shade of his car seat. This ray shade came in handy and I plan to use it with my stroller when he is ready for it. It is very easy to attach and take off. Just be sure to close the velcro tabs after use or they can ruin the material of the shade-if they get stuck to it. It happened to me the first time I put it away.

I'm a runner and there is a huge lack of stroller's that come with large canopy's that actually block your child from the sun's harmful rays. This sun shade makes a world of difference. I can go running in the morning with my son in tow and not have to worry about him getting a sun burn or having the sun in his eyes. It's one of the most valuable products that I've purchased sinced my son was born.

5 out of 5 stars Great Sunshade - Works like a charm!   March 1, 2006

This sunshade works great! I use it all the time and am happy with it's performance. I was a little peeved at the fact that it came with very few instructions, but then realized that there are many variations of how to attach it to many variations of strollers, so I can see now why no instructions. I would recommend this.
