My daughter loves this! September 20, 2009 C. Peterson (IL) Great car accessory! Any time my daughter starts crying, I can remote turn this on, and she is entertained/soothed right away! She loves the music, the first setting is the perfect volume, and sometimes she even falls alseep listening to it! I love that I can remote it on while driving!! A must-have for frequent travelers!
Easy to install and entertaining! May 16, 2009 Suzi Frink (Atlanta, GA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My mother-in-law purchased this on a whim while shopping together; I was just going to buy the basic mirror. It's fun, very easy to install and offers a very nice view of the baby. If your remember to leave the remote in the car and say, not inside the house, the music does offer a brief distraction. Great for those moments when you're almost home and you've tried everything to soothe the "little screamer" ;)
Great entertainer and view of baby November 9, 2009 Amanda D. Rickard (Silver Creek, NE USA) I put this mirror in my car so that I could watch my daughter while I was driving. The great thing about this mirror is that it plays music for baby to listen to also and has a remote so I don't have to worry about turning things on and off. The remote turns the mirror on and off. It was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I had problems with the batteries and remote at first.
The new version of this mirror doesn't have lights! July 11, 2009 K. E Pearce (Santa Barbara, CA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We had the FP Rainforest Auto Mirror. We wanted another one. I saw the Precious Planet mirror and decided to get it instead thinking that it'd be the same mirror with slightly different animals and music. (This was my experience of the differences between the Rainforest and Precious Planet jumperoos and other stuff.)
But the Precious Planet version doesn't have lights like the Rainforest one does. This is one of my baby's favorite features. He likes the Rainforest one in Daddy's car way better than the Precious Planet in my car. I wish that I had bought the Rainforest one. What a bummer.
One other difference: the remote control in the Precious Planet version is smaller. (So what?)
incorrect product description - no lights! October 4, 2009 jjc (columbus, oh) This is a large mirror that provides a great view of your child and has a cute soft frame. Our toddler enjoys holding on to the remote so that she can turn the music on and off. I have no complaints about this product, except for the fact that the product description is incorrect. It states, "Soft, dancing lights captivate baby while enhancing baby's visual tracking skills. Three position slide switch allows for music, lights or both; with volume control."
There are no lights on this mirror. There is a three position switch, but the positions are off, quiet and loud. There is no dial for volume control, as there was on older models. I am disappointed that I did not get what was described but, all in all, this is still a decent buy.
